Finally someone is talking about the real problem
I have been dealing with this for four years. Three different urologists, two medications, and still waking up four or five times every night. I watched this entire video and for the first time I feel like someone actually explained what is going on inside my body. The part about why the medication only masks the symptoms is something no doctor ever said to me directly.

The Italy connection made total sense to me
My grandfather was from southern Italy and lived well into his 90s without any of these problems. I always thought it was just luck. After watching Dr. Herman explain the research behind why that region has such different outcomes, I started connecting dots I had never connected before. The science here is solid and it lines up with things I had read separately but never put together.

Watch it all the way through — it gets better
I almost stopped watching after the first ten minutes because I have seen so many of these types of videos. I am glad I did not. The explanation Dr. Herman gives for why Flomax stopped working for me after eight months is the first thing that has actually made sense. He does not talk down to you. He explains it like a real doctor talking to a real patient, not like a sales pitch.

Sent this to my brother in New Jersey
He has been on finasteride for two years and dealing with the side effects badly. I watched the full video this morning and immediately called him. The part where Dr. Herman explains what the medication is actually doing versus what it is supposed to do — that is the part my brother needed to hear. Sharing this with every man over 55 that I know. This is the kind of information that should be in every doctor's office.

My wife found this and made me watch it
I have not slept a full night in three years. My wife started researching on her own because my doctor kept saying everything was within normal range. She found this presentation and sat down with me while I watched the whole thing. The research Dr. Herman cites about the compound that accumulates in the prostate tissue — that is not something I had ever heard explained that clearly. Watching it a second time now and taking notes.

68 years old and I finally have an explanation
Retired engineer, spent my career solving problems by finding the root cause. That is exactly what I felt was missing from every urologist appointment I ever had. They treat the output, not the input. Dr. Herman is the first person in a medical context who addressed this the way an engineer would — trace it back to the origin. The Stanford and Yale research he references is real and verifiable. I checked.
